Even though Iron Gate studio is currently on vacation, I could not help my self from putting some time into the project. Something we have talked about for a long time is to make the wind in the game more dynamic. In the old itch.io-version of the game , the wind in static and always blows from the north. Since we have many types of weather from calm & sunny to heavy fog and thunderstorms, it kind of makes sense for wind to be affected by this. So this experiment is about making wind direction and intensity change with time and weather. And of course making the environment react to the changing wind. Current systems that is affected by wind is Grass movement, Tree leaf ripples, sway direction & intensity etc, Sail & cape cloth simulation, ocean wave direction & height, Ship sail speed, leafs, rain,dust and other particle systems and wind noise.
